Pastor Stephen Chey

Stephen is a pastor with a Ph.D. in mechanical engineering. He earned his bachelor’s degree from SNU and continued his studies at MIT in mechanical engineering. While studying, he met Jesus and became a Christian in 1995.

He worked for over a decade as an IT and supply chain management consultant, during which time he served several ministries as a sermon translator. In 2012, he entered the M.Div. program at Torch Trinity Graduate University and was ordained as a pastor in 2018. He is currently a researcher in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at SNU and serves as a pastor for the English Ministry at New Creation Church.
